Project Management Software

Project management software is the system that lets you plan several pieces of work under a shared goal, distribute resources and responsibility, and follow progress. Slizer groups projects under organizations: it sets up a separate workspace for each client, department or product, and inside that space the boards, tasks, team chats and meetings all live together. That means you never have to move between different tools just to find out where a project stands.

How projects, boards and tasks relate

The structure in Slizer has three layers: the organization at the top, projects and boards beneath it, and individual tasks at the bottom. For an agency, the organization might be “the agency itself”, the projects its “clients”, and the boards workflows such as “campaign” or “website refresh”. This hierarchy lets you hold both the big picture and the daily detail in one system.

  • Organization: the company or department
  • Project: a client, product or line of business
  • Board: the Kanban view of a single workflow
  • Task: an individual piece of work with an owner

Why project communication should live in the same place

Decisions about a project scattering across email, a messaging app and meeting notes is the single most common cause of lost information. In Slizer the project chat, task comments and meeting summaries all sit in the same workspace, so the answer to “where was that decided?” is one search away.
